This year promises to be a great year for the The American Knife Throwers Alliance. The AKTA has at least four tournaments scheduled to be held across the USA for 2010. The American Knife Throwers Alliance owner and National Director, Bobby Branton has named world champion knife Thrower Joe Darrah as National Tournament Director and has added world renowned knife thrower and impalement artist Che Che White Cloud as Assistant National Director. Joe and Che Che will be instrumental in helping us to carry on the legacy of our founder Harry K. McEvoy. The website has been updated with new and current information.

We are planning An AKTA Throw as well as some Mountain Man events... and we're going to try to come up with some crazy games to play as well! There will be a long distance event, speed throw (how quickly you can throw 5 knives) and any other crazy challenging throws we can come up with!'

Cost is $20.00 per person. Food will be available near by and can be gotten if need be. I'll give away a few knives and a hawk as prizes, and a one of a kind Tru-Bal Bowie will be up for grabs by the overall winner!
There are hotels within a 6 mile area or tents can be used. Most of the events will take place Sat. and we'll squeeze as much in that day as we can. Other games and fun stuff will be Sun. until about 3:00 PM when we'll wrap it up.
Prizes for the AKTA Tournament will be given out Sat. evening and any other prizes will be given out Sun afternoon.
