Friday, October 7, 2005 Range opens for practice 8:00 am - 9:00 am KNIFE DIVISION AKTA style 12 ft knife event 9:00 am - noon Noon til 1:00pm Lunch (provided on site) AKTA style 18 ft knife event 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (This year we will combine the scores of the 12 ft knife and the 18 ft knife event to determine the winner in that division) Awards Banquet Friday night at approx 7:30 pm (Gilligan's seafood restaurant)
Saturday, October 8, 2005 Range opens for practice 8:00 am - 9:00 am TOMAHAWK DIVISION Tomahawk competition 9:00 - noon Lunch - noon-1:00 pm
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Knife division. Participation trophies will be awarded to all other contestants Drawings will be held for free throwing knives and hawks as well as other items that will be donated Camping available on site with limited facilities

Camping KOA Campground 843-849-5177 This past year, I was hired by a production company to be a technical advisor and to train actress, Salma Hayek for a role in a new movie "Bandidas" to be released sometime this spring . I was flown to L.A. to train Miss Hayek for the role of a bank robber who is an expert with knives. Together with her accomplice Penelope Cruz, who was an expert with guns, would team up and rob banks and trains to avenge her fathers death and to get her fathers money back. After the training in L.A. I was flown to the movie set in Mexico City for further training and to act as a technical advisor during filming. A couple of weeks later after I left Mexico City, I then had to fly to Durango, Mexico where I performed the actual throwing on location for the more difficult throwing scenes. I also designed and crafted some very special throwing knives for Miss Hayek and actor Sam Shepard to use in the film. Keep checking back for more updates on the release of the movie.
